What changed in 2025–2026

2025: moved to token-based credits by model. Plus displayed at $30 against a struck-through $90 at time of checking.

Sep 2025: Pro restructured to a $20 platform fee with one deploying seat and $20 usage credit; free viewer seats. 8 Sep 2026: Flat Rate CDN generally available, default for new Pro teams, after customers asked for predictable bills.

What you can steal

  1. Pricing

v0 publishes its own model token rates, effectively reselling inference with a markup and a UX layer. That is honest cost-plus, and it caps how much value the vendor can capture.

  2. Pricing

Vercel moved part of its bill back from usage to flat tiers because customers feared traffic-spike bills. Offer a flat tier for the spiky, scary meter.
