What changed in 2025–2026

Jul 2025: Cognition acquired Windsurf. 18 Mar 2026: credits (previously $10 per 250 extra) replaced by daily/weekly quotas effective 19 Mar; Pro $15 to $20, Teams $30 to $40/seat, new Max $200; existing subscribers grandfathered at $15/$30. 14 Apr 2026: Devin self-serve aligned to the same lineup. 2 Jun 2026: Windsurf renamed Devin Desktop; windsurf.com/pricing now redirects to devin.ai/pricing.

What you can steal

  1. Pricing

Moving from monthly credits to daily/weekly quotas smooths load and stops customers running out in week two. Grandfathering existing customers at the old price bought goodwill for the increase.
