Growth milestones

Deepgram appears in our analysis of 2026's $100M ARR class. Figures are company-reported unless stated.

  • 2025-11-19: Reached $100M ARR (ARR Club). (source)
  • 2026-01: Series C at a $1.3B valuation (TechCrunch unicorn list: $143M; ARR Club entry: $130M). (source)

How it grows

Developer-first: free $200 credit, docs and self-serve API; graduate to prepaid Growth commitments; enterprise and partner deals (e.g. IBM).

What you can steal

  1. Pricing

Deepgram prices a voice agent per minute and discounts it when customers bring their own LLM. Price bundles so customers can swap out components and still buy from you.

  2. usage-based pricing

Give a meaningful free credit, then offer a discount for prepaid annual credits: it turns variable usage into committed revenue.

  3. land and expand

Self-serve developers prove usage; usage data tells sales which accounts to upgrade to enterprise contracts.
