Growth milestones

Decagon appears in our analysis of 2026's $100M ARR class. Figures are company-reported unless stated.

  • 2025-06: $131M Series C led by a16z and Accel (valuation ~ $1.5B, estimated). (source)
  • 2026-01-28: $250M Series D led by Coatue and Index at a $4.5B valuation (~3x prior); added 100+ corporate clients in 2025 incl. Avis Budget Group, Deutsche Telekom. (source)
  • 2026-08-12: ARR hit $100M. (source)

How it grows

Top-down enterprise sales; proof-of-concept on live traffic; offers outcome-based pricing option to de-risk; expands across channels (voice premium).

What you can steal

  1. Pricing

Even when offered outcome pricing, most Decagon buyers chose the simpler, more predictable per-conversation meter. Outcome pricing is a strong selling point, but offer a predictable alternative.

  2. pricing model

Offer a per-outcome option (pay per resolved ticket) alongside per-use: it de-risks the purchase even if most buyers choose the simpler meter.

  3. usage-based pricing

Define the billable unit precisely in the contract; ambiguous 'resolution' definitions create disputes.
