How credits/tokens work. Credits are the single usage system across paid plans.

What changed in 2025–2026

2026: moved from 'unlimited usage plus Premium Credit pool' to credit-based plans as the main usage system.

What you can steal

  1. Pricing

HeyGen dropped 'unlimited' once new AI features made costs unpredictable. Advertising 'unlimited' locks you in; a credit pool is easier to evolve as features change.
